INTEREST FREE FINANCE FAQS
Latitude Interest Free credit cards such as Latitude Gem Visa or Latitude GO Mastercard work like normal credit cards but offer the added functionality of Interest Free payment plans. There are three different types of Latitude Interest Free payment plans:
Minimum Monthly (Interest Free)
Minimum spend applies. Conditions, fees, and charges apply. New customers must apply and be approved for a Latitude Gem Visa credit card. Available on participating Latitude credit cards only (Latitude Gem Visa, Latitude GO Mastercard, Buyer's Edge, CreditLine).
$2,000 TV on a 24-month Minimum Monthly payment plan = customer required to pay a minimum payment each month. Minimum monthly payments must be made until promotional plan is fully paid off. After expiry of the interest free promotional period, interest will be charged on the remaining outstanding balance. Paying only the minimum monthly payment will not pay out the purchase before the end of the plan. At the end of the plan, interest will be charged at 26.99% p.a. Interest may also apply to other credit card transactions if you do not comply with the T&C's. Customers can make extra payments at any time with no penalties.
Equal Monthly (Instalment Interest Free)
Minimum spend applies. Conditions, fees, and charges apply. New customers must apply and be approved for a Latitude Gem Visa credit card. Available on participating Latitude credit cards only (Latitude Gem Visa, Latitude GO Mastercard, Buyer's Edge, CreditLine).
$2,000 TV on a 24 month Equal Monthly payment plan = customer required to pay the purchase price in 24 equal monthly instalments ($83.33 excludes $9.95 monthly account service fee; total estimated price $2,238.8). If paid on time, the balance is cleared by the end of the Interest Free period. If not, at the end of the plan, interest will be charged at 26.99% p.a. on the remaining outstanding balance. Interest may also apply to other credit card transactions if you do not comply with the T&C's.
Flexible
Minimum spend applies. Conditions, fees, and charges apply. New customers must apply and be approved for a Latitude Gem Visa credit card. Available on participating Latitude credit cards only (Latitude Gem Visa, Latitude GO Mastercard, Buyer's Edge, CreditLine).
$2,000 TV on a 24 month Flexible payment plan = customer not required to pay any amount during the Interest Free period. This unpaid balance will incur interest of 26.99% p.a. once the Interest Free period expires. Interest may also apply to other credit card transactions if you do not comply with the T&C's. Customers can make payments at any time with no penalties.
Instalment Interest Free with Terms (6, 12, & 24 months)
Conditions, fees and charges apply. The plan is payable by 6, 12 or 24 equal monthly instalments (exact amounts specified in your statement). As the qual monthly payment plan (Instalment Interest Free Promotion) is for a term less than 33 months, the minimum monthly payment will be greater than an interest free payment for the same term and you may pay more interest on any other outstanding balance on your credit card account, as your repayments will be allocated to this plan first.
If you don’t make your minimum monthly payment for two consecutive months, you agree that all equal monthly payment plans (Instalment Interest Free Promotion) with a term less than 33 months will change to a minimum monthly payment plan (Interest Free Promotion) for the remainder of the original plan term. At the end of the plan, interest will be charged at 26.99% p.a. (subject to change). Monthly account service fee of $9.95 (subject to change) applies. Interest may also apply to other credit card transactions if you do not comply with the T&Cs.
